I see you don't believe in Karma, I do. moving on.

you are one human being, you haven't lived in the shoes of everyone, you may family or friends that believe in the same things, I have all kinds of friends, atheists, theists. Don't you think experiences shape people? whether or not their experiences are real? Nothing is static, beliefs change, I can change too, so can you, at this point of time, with my understanding, I thought it was malicious evil forces, and I still do.

Yes, I did think. thank you, don't just assume I didn't think. I sought other kinds of help before I looked towards the supernatural, and these other kinds of help may have helped for other people, it didn't help for me.

In other words you have ANOTHER unsupported (and ridiculous) belief.

    Oh wow! What an insight.

Then your "understanding" was (and, apparently, still is) flawed.

    Yeah my bad.
What I meant was "You didn't think rationally about it".

And rather than simply stop at "I don't know, let's leave it until I get evidence" you decided that the "supernatural" was responsible.
    Got it.
    (See previous comment about thinking).

it could be many things, could be what my parents have done or what i have done unknowingly that affects me.

i believe in god, and i also believe in evil, and what happened did not have a logical explanation, and i believed that maybe these evil forces behind it, and the fact that getting rid of these evil forces helped my family, further solidified my beliefs

i believe there are illnesses, mental illnesses and such, and i think science would help in such cases. but in some cases, when science can't help, an exorcism, blessing or cleansing may need to be performed.

Not one that you could come up with you mean.
Not the same as it being "supernatural".

    Which part are you querying?
    1) Just because YOU couldn't come up with a logical explanation doesn't mean that there isn't one.
    2) Exorcism/ blessing/ cleansing is superstitious with zero basis in reality. To suggest that they can help where rationality (e.g. science) can't is to promote irrationality, superstition and outright woo.

I think they should only be tried when science can't help in the first place.

There is no natural if it is unexplained. Unexplained means supernatural.

    No it bloody doesn't.

How many times do you have to be told this?

I've proven it. You refuse to accept it. Not my problem.

The only thing you've proven is that you don't know what you're talking about.

i don't suggest exorcims, blessings and cleansings for all problems, sometimes rationality won't help, sometimes things go bad in the spiritual realm, and you need to deal with them appropriately.

What's this "spiritual realm"? Where is it, what's it made of and how does it work?

More importantly, why do you think it exists?

it cannot be seen, and demons and evil forces reside, and they can influence the minds of hearts of people. They can also cause harm, trough hauntings. it is important to deal with them. Just like there is a god, there is evil.

i do believe in god and I'm spiritual, there was a time when my family had a cycle of bad things happening to us, but then after exhausting rational solutions, we had to resort to the spiritual side, and then things improved.

There are many who do this, bless their house regularly, seek spiritual help for bad luck and such.

But you suggested it for some problems.
In other words you're detached from reality.

How would you know, you don't appear to have ever tried it.

Since there is no "spiritual realm" it's not possible for things to go bad there.

dywyddyr, do you have a rational explanation for demonic possession?

There's no such, therefore a "rational explanation" for it isn't needed.
(And also no such thing as "demons").

    Start here.

what about all the people in the world who believe in demons, and have benefited from performing cleansings and blessings and such?
