    Does anyone else dare to think that maybe these substances might actually exist in some other mundane form. Not narcotics, but maybe, just maybe there is a substance that will expand the human preception. Or a plant that can generate an alternate form of power...

    Just curious...

    If it exists at all, on earth, then I'd bet that it's in the rainforest. I'd like to get my hands on some, make my eyes nice and blue.

    Cos I could learn that and have the spice influence me....cool. Blue eyes....bonus

    There are plenty of spices: cinnimon, pepper, nutmeg, ginger, paprika, Mrs. Dash to name but a few.

    Also, being able to do the types of things the Duncan ghola does in Heretics of Dune would be really frickin awesome, too. That type of stuff was the inspiration for the jedi.

    Dewd, isn't protoculture what you have to take after anthropology? I like, am so into social science.
