Due to this forum having 'culture' in it as well, I thought this would be as good a place as any to post something of this nature.

I know we have a variety of different cultures accessing this site and posting many differing points of view on a wide range of topics. Thus, I was wondering if anyone else had some really good recipes they'd be willing to exchange. And it's got to be food you actually make, that's pretty germane to your diet and way of upbringing. I've got one that I'd like to share to get the ball rolling.

I just think that eating different kinds of foods is one of the best ways to understand others and get a different taste for what's around you.

Having said that, here's something I really enjoy:

Bean, Bologna & Cheese sandwiches
Ingredients:
1 can of pork & beans
Sliced cheese
Sliced bologna
Sliced bread

Directions:
Toast (broil) one side of two pieces of bread in an oven.
Turn the bread over to the non-toasted side.
Put a slice of bologna on one piece and a slice
of cheese on the other piece.
Shovel some beans onto the bologna.
Place this back into the oven.
Heat until the cheese is melted, then remove.
The bologna will curl up around the beans, making a
little bowl.

Best eaten with chips.

On reflection, I guess this sandwich is pretty self-explanatory, but it makes for good eatin'.

Tasty!
