I am almost certain I am right. Me being wrong costs you nothing but a little time for experimentation. RS being wrong will cost you ... more. Take a screen shot before posting - so we can see the raw text and code - and attach it here.
just close your browser then re-boot your pc. that will be safer than deleting your cookies but the sci-forums web site server may keep the memory ... if so you have to manually delete the message once you make it pop up in the reply box by clicking on the message box. AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ONLY 1 BROWSER PAGE OPEN WHEN YOU DO IT the website sever caches from 2 open pages occasionally. and it seems to hit a double up on the time hold for the cached auto fill message box content(draft) it is a very handy function, however it can be a little infuriating on the odd occasion you have had several browsers open and it glitches. slow and methodically follow the steps in my first response making sure you have only 1 browser page open. that should fix it without having to delete your cookies in theory
Yes. Why? You asked for help. RS offered you a nuclear option. I don't think it's a browser issue. I think it's a typo. It happens to me all the time. It happens to everyone.
I assume you mean post 14. If you edit that post, you will find a closing quote that's broken or missing. That's why I suggested you post a screen shot, so I can show you. Fix it, then remove the added end quote. Again, you don't seem to be having trouble with it now. This suggests it is something wrong with that post, not a bug.
