    some thoughts for free

you only make a place to rest by doing work(creating force).

    all things require force

rest is not possible without creating force to make a space of no force.

the space of no force, is in fact a space of positive force rather than negative force

all things(living animals) create force by their existence

humans create the most noise by exerting force around themselves as they live.
this means living among people requires the need to create force to provide rest from force.

Do you know "erthe toc of erthe"↱?

It's an old poem, documented ca. 1340, and one that plays several meanings of "erthe". I know a slightly different translation than the version linked; by comparison, the one I know seems licentious. In any case, there are, I think, five different definitions of "erthe" in the four lines.

You might be attending too many definitions of "force".

Think of influence, instead, and in the context of neurotic human frailty seeking a sense of empowerment amid an eternal drift of apparent powerlessness. Every once in a while, we marvel at some animal in nature willing to destroy its own young, but we humans will even torture our own kids to suicide, in the name of God, in order to feel that we aren't powerless.

The trick sounds simple: Redefine or reprioritize one's sense of empowerment. Easier said than done, of course.

To the other, I have a joke about attainment and enlightenment, that is a bit hard to explain, and it isn't quite as easy a setup with Buddhism; with Sufism, it has to do with polishing the mirror until one sees God therein and a related, even concomitant, assertion of abandoning religious practice. The thing about the punch line is that it might not be a joke. There have always been Christian mystics, and there are obscure arguments by which the ministry of Christ pursues a similar result; I can find a version buried in an obscure corner of American tax policy discourse. Long digression short: One way to assert influence within that feeling of powerlessness is to assert one's own priorities. Not those given by parents or teachers, or teevee and preachers.

It's also true the psychology of empowerment perception is shot through the weave of our living tapestry in particularly demanding fashion.

Youre Shorts be long and your longs be art
    from tether to
    while so apart
    misty sounds linguistic start
    misty thoughts fires start
thought behold to fill the void
    cluster none or cloister all
pins that drop are trees in fell
while trees that fell do bother none at all, in the passing of the common ground of thought, of all.

    indeed
a poison chellus or keg of mead
we are but ego bubbles among pins of reality as a passing emotion takes aim at its own desires.

    Haleys comment comments concomitantly commutably
as the fades shade to gray
    colours run mono chromatically
    night is the new day
