Already there Wet1, clocked up over 4500 hrs up to now.

Crop Circles. I think 90% of them are hoaxes - the rest, don't knows?

Anything can be equated to anything else if your use the correct (or incorrect) mathematics!!!

    kirk,

relax, your getting a little deffensive considering the little you've posted.

perhaps you missed my point, im not saying your wrong, im saying you can hardly expect me to be convinced by a few lines in a post - you've written your assumptions clearly enough but have given nothing backing them up, not even a link.

Like i said, start a thread i think its an interesting concept to discuss but needs to be fleshed out for those of us not intimately familiar with the data behind your claims.

If your memory is substantial (they say 64mb but I would go over 128mb) enough then it does no harm and if your on broadband/cable/wireless etc then you never have to do anything again. Just set it up to automatically update as and when necessary.

    Thanks!

I was surprised to find that I just stepped into 1st place. I had assumed that a number of people probably had many more work units than me. Sorry Clive.

Anyone wanting to discuss crop circles will find a more appropriate venue in the Pseudoscience forums, where myself and others will gladly discuss anything you want to on the subject. There are both believers, skeptics, and people in between in there.

But for Pete's sake, PLEASE do not use the Astronomy forum for such discussions.

I'm already using SETI@home. Not too keen on the screensaver, though.
