i'm having a bad day spurious i managed to download a frikken virus last night i had about 2 and a half gigabytes of downloads that i was saving to burn to cd-r and i had to format my drives i'm speechless

Well, I rather gathered that. I was hoping you'd explain your logic a bit, but if you're not into that I guess that's okay.
The problem with the self-righteousness is that its not aimed at anything useful, just saying "You people are all flamers, and I'm not, I can say whatever I want, and its okay" and think that they are right. I'll refer to a recent wired article that talks about how kids, specifically gamers, are overly cocky because they spend a great deal of their time in games without any authority figures. Realms which they can do whatever they want all day long with no guiding light. Um, I'm late for work, but I will be in touch, since I'm a stalker.
There are a few things that need to be straightened out, Fafnir. First of all, you've yet to conclusively prove that I'm flaming the forum. I want specific statements I've made that someone can reasonably be insulted by. When I say 'someone', I don't mean some pussy who cries when someone says something slightly mean. I mean a normal person like me or (maybe) you. Contrary to your belief, I can admit that I'm wrong. You just had to show me in a fair manner exactly how I was wrong. It's the adult thing to do. Second of all, disregarding my argument and Beryl's – indeed, disregarding the point of my entire thread – simply because of our age is both ad hominem, strawman, and ageism. Again, if you had shown me exactly how I was wrong, without resorting to these logical fallacies, then I would have admitted that I was wrong. Third of all, going out of your way to find out Beryl's age – such as looking at her AIM profile – and then IMing her to tell her she's just a self-righteous kid, instead of focusing on the argument at hand... That shows me that you are incapable of debating fairly, and do not deserve to be taken seriously by me, Beryl, or anyone else on this forum. Don't bother responding to this post. I know what it's gonna say already: Something about how I'm just another self-righteous kid who can't seem to respect his elders, right? You can waste your time and say that if you want, but I won't see it: I'm putting you on my ignore list. Period.

You're guilty of not proving your claims, just like Fafnir. Please tell me how the purpose of my thread or any of my posts must be to attract flames. As far as I know, I'm addressing a concern in a serious manner. And it seems to me that I would know best what my own intentions are. But if you think I'm wrong, it should be easy to show me how. Right?
