I was looking for ways to troll the thread entitled 'True Ghost Stories'. but after Googling The Ghost of Bigfoot I came across: http://scoobydoo.wikia.com/wiki/The_Ghost_of_Bigfoot_(episode)

    It aired in 1972!?

I had no idea the program dated back so long. ergo, I got stumped in thinking ScoobyDoo came out before I was born. Wasn't there a movie that came out more recently?

The original Saturday morning animated series, "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!" debuted in 1969. I've never seen it or any of its sequels, so I know almost nothing about it.

The first animated TV show I watched was "Crusader Rabbit," which debuted in 1950 (when I turned seven), after a pilot in 1947. Apparently, it was quite popular, because I often meet people of my generation who remember it fondly.

I never liked ''Scooby-Doo'' and from a young age always thought it wouldn't last long. And yet It has outlasted all the cartoons I watched as a kid.
