    Pilots aren't human?

Pilots are trained to fly a plane. They are as much subject to delusions, illusions, mistakes of fast moving or distant objects, troubled minds, near as anyone else is. Certainly much more then your silly unsupported 99.99%
You will get as far with this nonsense as you did with water river.

Pilots know what they're doing. They are trained in dog fight maneuvers. If they say they encountered a UFO that was like a dog fight with a craft with superior maneuverability, then they were.

We have our answer to the Drake equation.

Well, I'd be up for it, but I'm not getting the impression you've done your homework on that topic to put you in a position to have an intelligent discussion about it. I might be wrong, of course.

How do you know they are really brilliant? How do you know they exist at all?

    Why are you here, then?

What you seem to be saying is that we should assume that pilots are perfect observers who never make mistakes. We must also assume that they always report things honestly. Therefore, we must assume that anything they tell us reflects the facts of the matter. Moreover, we should always accept their interpretations of their experiences, without question.

    Is that what you're saying?

You're new here, I guess, so I'll let this one pass this time. You might like to read our forum posting guidelines before you continue posting here.

They presumably know what they are doing when it comes to flying a plane, for the most part. Beyond that, who knows?

You seem to have an extraordinary amount of confidence in the general competence of pilots as witnesses of unusual events.

Do you think it is impossible for a pilot to ever make a mistaken identification of a UFO? Do you think that most pilot-reported sightings represent real alien spacecraft? If so, why? It's not just because you already believe in alien visitations, is it?
