https://techxplore.com/news/2021-04-scientists-vulnerability-affecting-globally.html Let's hope the computer science boffins can come up with a practical solution(s) soon.
after having a quick read of a different web site this does not surprise me with soo many different groups trying to get back doors into every home computer in the world for marketing and nosing around now there is this something that almost looks designed to do so. considering global rise in computer capacity ... such things are a ticking time bomb for those hell bent on causing chaos. it tends to mock open source given the vulnerability will be inside all those computers now forced to run software and hardware that must be used to run modern CPU & ram hungry share-ware-yourundies for the marketing companies. & people thought RPC was going to be an issue lol this seems to be a considerable over sight. hopefully no nefarious groups will get hold of it before a fix is found it would be quite expensive to have to change all chips or chip software.
Indeed and indeed. We assume the likes of Microsoft/Apple/Google/Various Linux iterations - will automatically apply or at least offer effective software patches ASAP. If I'm first to come across a reputable download site ahead of that it will be linked to here.
the common protection is super power & smaller groups desire to not wipe out the global financial system though any group sufficiently motivated enough to cause collapse would be happy to roll that dice as many times as they could unfortunately profit leaned capitalistic outsourcing ends up in cost cutting that directly undermines security and long term survivability it is a little ironic watching the lilliputians argue over which end of the egg to cut open by moving job cost wages into new risk departments to try and cover losses and poor management which were cost cutting by massive short staffing policy the irony in no fair open market which would have cost them huge market shares is not lost also.
And here's one of many similar articles that are not exactly inducive of sweet dreams: https://www.zdnet.com/pictures/the-...-technologies-that-should-scare-you-to-death/
& explodes because it has been made out of semtex & takes out the entire house & all its occupants, & ignites the gas supply to the house because it has already strategically dropped phosphorous all sorts of possibilities but its more likely a hacker box who drives around in a van hacking amazon and stealing peoples parcels then for fun & lols flys the drones into passenger plane engines as they are taking off at a local airport just for fun because they can or has a swarm command gps hack that makes all drones once switched on swarm to an air port just for fun or dive bomb cars on the freeway so drivers swerve & crash etc for lolz keeping in mind tel'cos own your cell phone controls and all drones will probably have cell phone command link over rite admin control assignment so ur tel-co cud have a 3rd party app hack running for months un detected waiting for a total number of drones to be connected to and then all independently activated with PROM command gps direction etc just for lolz like those Australian new purchase post office mail delivery mini ATV bikes that had spy cameras and spy microphones attached and working accidentally and no one supposedly knew GPS locator & active real time camera live microphone live residential addresses being able to be live verified
# 5 is a toxic shit hole of american nazi-ism as if serving 10 years in prison is completely normal normalising institutional nazi-ism tacit mind games ? The Police Officer Only Rings Once Congressman Ryan McConnell-Schumer was up to no good. On a late-night journey back from a meeting with Russian agents -- where he'd been handed $14 million in cash and a kiss on both cheeks -- his self-driving Segway struck two innocent people. Fortunately, the incident was caught on one of Amazon's wonderful Ring doorbells. Why, then, did the police ring your doorbell a single time, then smash the door down and arrest you? Because the neighbor with the Ring doorbell handed the footage to the police. The police used Amazon's facial recognition software to identify the perpetrator. It said it was you, even though you only got out of jail the night before. You got another 10 years. This was the 29th time the software had mistaken a congressman for a felon. when you look at how many jews live in the usa and how many americans are apprentice nazis it should be no surprise openly being an apprentice nazi in the usa is seen as a true value of liberty being expressed i find that quite amazing
