SP-100 nuclear NASA engine...what has happened to it? I am a pro-nuclear space supporter and this 1993-1994 project is nowhere to be heard of.

Isnt there a concern that if something goes wrong during launch, nuclear materials could be spread around the atmosphere?

It's Florida. Who's it going to hurt? People who are past reproductive age and meth-heads.

There was more danger from the fallout from above ground nuclear tests, of which we've made several hundred int he last 50 years.

We're going to learn the hard way that we need those nuclear spacecraft. Screw the anti-nuke lobby along with their animal rights friends, and screw them hard.

    Mars by 1980!
