I believe river has got that from a previous link I gave in another thread. I don't believe you are entirely correct, in that time and space can be seen to be interchangeable. The following wasn't the exact link I gave but I believe it does show a relationship and how they can be seen to be interchangeable. https://einstein.stanford.edu/content/relativity/a10743.html What is the relationship between space and time? Mathematically, and in accordance with relativity, they are in some sense interchangeable, but we do know that they form co-equal parts of a larger 'thing' called space-time, and it is only within space-time that the most complete understanding of the motion and properties of natural objects and phenomena can be rigorously understood by physicists. Space and time are to space-time what arms and legs are to humans. In some sense they are interchangeable, but you cannot understand 10,000 years of human history without including both arms and legs as part of the basic human condition. """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Obviously river was not looking at this scientifically, and as I said, and as per your remarks elsewhere, was simply plagiarising simply because its mainstream logic and theory.
Why didn't he post to that thread, then? Oh, I see. It's because he has been excluded from posting in the Science subforums, due to posting too much mindless nonsense there. river: that doesn't give you licence to simply duplicate science threads in other subforums. Stop that.
I don't know, other then maybe he has finally wised up by a tiny amount, and realised he cannot post his nonsense in the mainstream sections?
This thread I believe....my post 73 http://www.sciforums.com/threads/if-there-is-no-energy-does-time-exist.162096/page-4#post-3590395
Ohhh. That's why he keeps starting these orphaned threads. I did not know his posting privileges were restricted.
Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I didn't know it either!!!It was just a rough guess on my part. One could say "about time"?
I just checked, and his latest exclusion period from posting to our Science sections (6 months) has expired now. I have reset his user permissions. However, any future exclusion will be for a longer period - at least several years. So, we'll see.
At the risk of derailing this thread even further, the question (which maybe should be moved elsewhere) becomes: What warrants being excluded from posting in forums, and what can we, as members do to facilitate it? It's been established (in Seattle's recent Feedback post, I believe) that members can post their opinions, no matter how wrong, so reporting members as saying wrong stuff won't be fruitful.
Time and space are different entities, but with similar qualities. Space exists so we may move into it. That's why the universe is expanding. Time exists so we may also move into it. That's why it continues forever.
http://www.sciforums.com/threads/ex...from-posting-in-the-science-subforums.144700/ This policy has been in place since 2015.
excellent question how do you exist in 2 different places experientially ? ... answer = with 'time' ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deterministic_system
what in any way was my post an answer to a question you might ask ? that said, you do realise that by asserting the consternation at having been asked a question you do not wish to answer, you have posed an attempt to redirect the discussion back around to avoid feeling like others might notice you have decided you are unable to answer the question i asked. i usually dont point that out as its obliviously a thing, but your applying it as a thing, so your effectively asking me to point it out... so im pointing to answer what you have asked to avoid answering what i asked.. i think you can answer it. i think your quite smart. you have a few walls you need to work on climbing as we all do. but hey... it aint science if ya aint trying Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
