) and am looking for more ambient/atmospheric songs. If you can help me think of any I'd be thankful. To give you an idea of the mood I'm looking for, here's a few examples of songs on the same playlist:
    Massive Attack - Teardrop
Radiohead - (almost all of em)
Bjork - All is full of love
    Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar
Some Aphex Twin (feel free to recommend more)
    Some Enya (diddo)
    Some Moby (diddo again)
    Orbital - Hacylon & On

I hope this helped. I will download any and every song you guys recommend. Please help! If you're not sure if the song fits the mood I'm lookin for, suggest it anyway!

    Thanx ALOT!

If you can find it, get EVERYTHING off of a CD called Unlearn by a band called Psykosonik. It's probably the most amazing CD I've ever heard for electronic/pop, and they're soooo underrated.

    Other soft stuff:
    Chemical Brothers - The Test
Dirty Vegas - Ghosts, Alive, All Or Nothing
    Delerium w/Sara McLachlan - Silence
    Moby - Porcelain, Extreme Ways
Enigma - The Love Sensuality Devotion Album

EDIT: If you end up liking Psykosonik, Hednoize is another offshoot band from one of the members. Harder, heavier, and more dark, but still pretty good, just not as listenable. Their only album right now is called Searching For The End.

You can also find some of Daniel Lenz's unreleased softer stuff on mp3.com under the artist of Psykohed.

Some of the instrumental stuff by the doves might fit nicely on that mix...like the song 'firesuite'.

Seriously though, here's some acts you might like to check out:

leftfield - el cid, chant of a poor man, rino's prayer
groove armada - inside my mind (blue skies), served chill
    after life - blue bar
    endorphine - viva
    chicane - saltwafter

I don't know if they are available on mp3.

You sure Backstreet Boys not your cuppa? How about Britney Spears. She had a very philosophical song, I think it's called "Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman". Deep, I tell you. Real Deep.

    Jamiroquai:

Virtual Insanity was his hit in America.

I like all their stuff and I listen to a lot of Moby.

    Traveling Without Moving, great album

Forgot to add......how about some songs from Travis? I've never listened to them before but I've heard they're a lot like Radiohead.

Oddly enough Groove Armada - Inside My Mind was the song that inspired this playlist!

Travis is a Radiohead-wannabe. Forget them and get Radiohead instead. Anything from their album "OK Computer" onwards is good stuff.

Little Fluffly Clouds by Orbital is a wonderful song. I've *heard* that it's even better on mushrooms

    .

Also, anything by Deep Forest is neat-o.

I like Little Fluffy Clouds, but that voice starts to creep me out after a while... Like severely...
