    Is there a close connection?

One of the parts of a Green Economy would surely be to bring the airline industry into line with the other sectors which all have to come to grips with their carbon emissions.

Can we say that ,had the Green economy been pursued more energetically then the airline tourism which seems to have fueled the spread of this infection would not have been in a position to have played this role.?

Does Greta Thunberg seem a lot less naive (or able to be painted as such) in the light of this pandemic? (she famously flew nowhere ,like my good self ,coincidentally for the last 20 years )

Or would a Green Economy simply find greener ways to facilitate our wishes for instant worldwide tourism?
