He was 1/4 German I believe.

 

I've seen the report before, hence why I mentioned it, I've also seen the picture of the person supposedly most symmetrical facially and hence attractive(I forget who it was), and I didn't find them more than mildly attractive, as I'm sure others didn't.
Showing a picture of an unsymmetrical character and saying it's not attractive is fine, but maybe someone will find parts of him mildly attractive, this also does not mean the opposite of said character is attractive.
If this symmetry is scientifically perfect then everybody would find that person attractive, and I don't think they would.

 

Sloth is unattractive. There isn't much more to it than that. You're right. Perhaps someone may find him attractive in some weird way. However, I can pretty much guarantee that the people who genuinely find his features attractive are part of a tiny minority.

This does relate to my point though, if the most 'beautiful' person symmetrically is white/black/whatever, and I don't find that skin colour attractive, does the principle still hold? A lot of people don't find certain skin colours attractive so a majority on beauty would be marginal.
