I studied philosophy in the last few years and reached the conclusion that it gets no where. I mean philosophers have been obssessed with questions like how do we know, what's the nature of things, why do we exist, how to categorize and fit reality into boxes, but we have gotten no answer and no where.

I have been thinking, maybe some basic and most fundamental premises are wrong. For example, what if human senses are completely wrong and unreliable? Scientific inquiry is all about logical induction or deduction based on our senses. What if the Hindus and Buddhists are right that our mind and senses are modified by a veil of delusion? What if we're all deluded? U.G.Krishnamurti said all human minds have some sort of neurological disorder. They are not only deluded but destructive.

Yeah but this discussion is different from your discussion about the existence of objective reality. The two topics are definitely related to each other but different as well.

But the discussion takes an "interesting" turn that is relevant to your question.

you take issue with propositions presented not philosophy

i delight in my state of ignorance
    it gives me purpose
    a reason for being

    what could be
always a more exciting proposition than what is assumed to be

So then philosophy brought you to this conclusion and got you somewhere.
