He can do what he wants, so far, and faced no consequences.
He hasn't even been impeached for his Russian dealings.
    That doesn't matter to Trump.
That you think he actually cares about building a wall is just more evidence that a Trump voter will believe anything.
    Even this:
And the bill for Trump's screwing around with walls and stuff hasn't even come due.
    - - -
Had a thought: Try this: post a short entry from an encyclopedia about something simple and factual.
See how it feels to post a physical fact - something that isn't weirdly and absurdly false.
    You might like it.

?? He still declared an "emergency" to get his unconstitutional wall built. Fact
You mean the city that demanded that the private company complete the building permit process before they started building? How DARE they require Trump supporters obey the law! How DARE they! Everyone knows that Trump and his supporters are above the law.
    Fake numbers.

I still want to know what you are going to do when the next democratic president declares a climate emergency and shuts down all the coal fired power plants. Because of the emergency.

    A bubbleboy posts another one.
The neat thing about reposting stupid shit somebody made up is that it's easy and endless. The downside is that you end up believing what you type - you become a fool.

Congress is in charge of who comes in: Sec 8 Art 4
Congress is in charge of repelling invasions: Sec 8 Art 15*
Congress is control of spending: Sec 9 Art 7

    * Trump Jan 2019, explaining why he needed emergency powers to build the wall: "people hate the word 'invasion,' but that's what it is."

    curiously:
In my copy of the constitution:
Article 4 does not have a section 8
    There is no article 15
Article 7 does not have a section 9
Are you referring to the Constitution of the United States of America?

Perhaps, you could quote the words found within the Constitution of the United States of America that you think support your contention?

    Sure.
Sec 8 Art 4: "The Congress shall have Power To . . .establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization"
Sec 8 Art 15: "The Congress shall have Power To . . . suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions"
Sec 9 Art 7: "No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law"

    your nomenclature is faulty

    You should have used
    article 1
    section (x)
    paragraph (x)
    see:

    .................
    imho--the wall/fence was never a good idea
it sucked when clinton started it--still sucked under bush's expansion---still sucked under obama's expansion---and it still sucks under that bloated buffoon that you seem to love to hate
    ..............................
    Meanwhile
Do you understand why trump sent the military to the border?
    perhaps
    a reading of 10 U.S.C. § 2808
    could prove enlightening?

    Bothsides is bullshit.

Clinton did not "start" this wall. Obama did not "expand" this wall. You are altering history and lying about it, to pretend that this wall - Trump's wall, the Republican wall - is not a screwed up Republican boondoggle.

That is "bothsides", the current rightwing media feed meme designed to allow the corporate paymasters and political leadership of the Republican Party to escape accountability for the disaster(s) they have created - this "Wall", and every other bedshitting of the Trump administration, being among them.

    Bothsides is bullshit.
    Seems pretty obvious, sure.
    Nope.
It has nothing to do with 10 USC 2808, or any other US law or regulation. It has nothing to do with any legitimate responsibility of the President. It has nothing to do with competent policy or sound governance.

This is a Late Reagan Era Republican administration you are talking about - you may as well just put your little pocket Constitution back on the shelf, filed under "nostalgia". If you want to catch up on what happened, the leftie bloggers (and, formerly, journalists) have been following the Republican vandalism of the US Constitution since 1980 - W's tenure was kind of a watershed, when vandalism expanded to demolition.

You are letting your yellow dog tendencies cloud your judgement, or remove it altogether.

The Mexico–United States barrier (Spanish: barrera México–Estados Unidos), also known as the border wall, is a series of vertical barriers along the Mexico–United States border intended to reduce illegal immigration to the United States from Mexico.[1] The barrier is not a continuous structure, but a series of obstructions classified as "fences" or "walls".

Between the physical barriers, security is provided by a "virtual fence" of sensors, cameras, and other surveillance equipment used to dispatch United States Border Patrol agents to suspected migrant crossings.[2] As of January 2009, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that it had more than 580 miles (930 km) of barriers in place.[3] The total length of the continental border is 1,954 miles (3,145 km).

The barriers were built from 1994, under the presidency of Bill Clinton, as part of three larger "operations" to taper transportation of illegal drugs manufactured in Latin America and immigration:
    ...
By May 2011, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security reported completing 649 miles (1,044 km) of fencing (99.5% of the 652 miles planned).
    ...
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico–United_States_barrier

Between 1994 and 2007, there were around 5,000 migrant deaths along the Mexico–United States border,

I'm not here to make conclusions. I'm just here to present possibilities outlined by people who actually know what they are talking about.

Just like Robert Mueller. Only these facts and possabilites had a book written about them three years ago. I didn't read the book but I bet its sourced well because nobody pays attention to it.

Technically I'm not publishing anything so it would be slander to say "Biden is a cocaine kingpin". The book was about corruption and held Biden and some shipping company at a distance of two different instances of corruption. Weather or not the shipping company was actually shipping cocaine was open to interpretation from what I gather.

Alluding to two instances in a single book however I find is less suspicious than apologizing to crack addicts for at one time saying they will never go back to pure cocaine.

Because military action tends to improve a president's approval rating.

Yes. It's called Rally around the Flag effect. From Wikipedia:
    ==================================
    Rally 'round the flag effect

The rally 'round the flag effect (or syndrome) is a concept used in political science and international relations to explain increased short-run popular support of the President of the United States during periods of international crisis or war. Because rally 'round The Flag effect can reduce criticism of governmental policies, it can be seen as a factor of diversionary foreign policy.

. . .two schools of thought have emerged to explain the causes of the effect. The first, "The Patriotism School of Thought" holds that in times of crisis, the American public sees the President as the embodiment of national unity. The second, "The Opinion Leadership School" believes that the rally emerges from a lack of criticism from members of the opposition party, most often in the United States Congress. If opposition party members appear to support the president, the media has no conflict to report, thus it appears to the public that all is well with the performance of the president. The two theories have both been criticized, but it is generally accepted that the Patriotism School of thought is better to explain causes of rallies, while the Opinion Leadership School of thought is better to explain duration of rallies. It is also believed that the lower the presidential approval rating before the crisis, the larger the increase will be in terms of percentage points because it leaves the president more room for improvement. For example, Franklin Roosevelt only had a 12% increase in approval from 72% to 84% following the Attack on Pearl Harbor, whereas George W. Bush had a 39% increase from 51% to 90% following the September 11 attacks.
    ================

    Some examples:

GWB saw significant jumps in his approval when we invaded Iraq and again later when we captured Hussein.
JFK saw a significant increase after the Cuban Missile Crisis.
GHWB - big jump when Desert Storm started

Trump desperately wants a high approval rating. So he uses the tools at his disposal to achieve that.

That isn't Trump's wall, and you and everybody else know it. So cut the crap.
    Bothsides is bullshit.
The desperation in the attempts to bothside every disaster and screwup and boondoggle of this Presidency and Republican Congress is palpable, but not even this media operation is going to be able to bothside Trump's Folly - the shitshow when the building starts, if it ever does (Trump doesn't care, so we might be able to slowwalk it into infinity) is going to be comical for the more cynical among the lefty bloggers, but not the lifeboat the Republican iceberg slalomers need - and need right now.
Incapable in theory, who knows. Completely uninterested, uninformed, inexperienced, unstaffed, uninvolved, and not doing any of that, is obvious. Your repeated attempts to cite US law and rule and governance and history and so forth are just strange irrelevancies - Trump couldn't care less, literally. 10 USC 2808 has nothing - jack shit nothing - to do with Trump's wall.

Unless you mean PR or marketing strategy - he's one of the great con men of US history, and that wall is one of his masterstrokes.
