    Too much liquid pees out nutrients the body needs .

    Water does not get consumed in the same way as say fat in the production of energy

    Urine output is dependent in main on

    fluid intake and

    ambient temperature

    A lot of fluid leaves the body via the lungs and sweat glands

    A small amount of fluid is lost with bowel motions as much of the fluid used to digest and move food along the digestive system is reabsorbed by the ascending transverse and descending colon

    Not going regular number 2 = to much water absorbed = constipation

    Urine is the way body gets rid off soluble waste products

    Normal colour light pale yellow

    Darker means body is excreting soluble waste with as little fluid as it can manage

    Not good

    Almost clear to much fluid in system which can decrease the balance of the body electrolyte system which needs to be balanced for effective electrical impulses of the nervous system

    The two main fluids which are given as being diuretic coffee and alcohol as I understand their action do not act strong enough to cause the body to excrete more fluid than the amount consumed

    Not so

    Hmmm... yet we know that B vitamins and vitamin C , both are excreted and therefore need to be replenished , daily .
