in my driver's ed class today we were watching a video of cop chases; some guy in San Diego hijacked a tank from a local armory, and was driving it around on public streets. the cops couldnt really do anything about it, seeing as how it was a tank, so he was just rampaging all over, crushing cars, knocking over lightposts, etc, he even tried to collapse a big concrete overpass by ramming the supports, but failed. He went on the freeway, tried to cross into oncoming traffic, but got caught up on the divider. The cops climbed up on top of it and pried open the hatch, he wouldnt give up so they were forced to shoot him.

In 1966, French President Charles De Gaulle withdrew his nation from NATO and told Lyndon Johnson that he wanted all American soldiers out of France, to which Johnson replied, "Does that include the ones buried at Omaha Beach?" Ouch!!
