Yes, he personally returns phone calls when citizens complain about things like snow not being cleared from their streets. Not a practical approach for a city of almost 5 million, nor does it truly help things when you divert busy city crews to go help poor old Agnes. Still a nice attitude to have in principle though, that every citizen should receive high priority attention from their government when they need it (unless they're homeless, in which case he doesn't give a **** about them). That and he's running a surplus at a time when many parts of Canada continue to run endless deficits and expect endless bailouts from other parts of the country.

Okay. I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN THE CITY IN QUESTION. I DID AND WILL VOTE FOR HIM AGAIN.

We needed a Tough Guy/Hard Ass on the bench to reduce government spending against roles protected by various Unions. If Toronto elects a wimp into office all the concessions Rob Ford got from the various parties will be moot as he/she will cave to the threats of the Unions.

The Council wanted a LRT system that would help our transit, yet Rob Ford said "No", "The people want subways"... This proved to be true and eventually the LRT people went away.

I have met Rob Ford.

He has slashed government spending and has already fulfilled his campaign promises to that end.

- Lets start with he is doing this for free. He is rich enough from his families label company that he really does not need the work.

He had gold teeth and Tattoos he thought were intimidating to his victims that he liked to fight. The Gold Teeth made him look fierce. He beat up a guy for snitching but was mad because there was not enough blood. He even attacked his school bus driver. In the weeks before his death Trayvon was involved in multiple illegal gun deals and even suggested several people share a gun. Trayvons own mother kicked him out of her house while he was suspended and that is why he was even in Sanford Florida. Trayvon was suspended from school for Graffiti and had been expelled for owning burglary tools and possessing stolen Jewelry (Returned to a home burgled near the school).

If anybody (Regardless of race) engages in this profession I label them as "SUBHUMAN". Would you say the same about Rob Ford? If someone thought (correctly) that he was a lying drug-using criminal who had threatened people with death, and killed Ford after pursuing him through a development, then certainly fewer illegal drugs will be sold and less drug crime will occur. Now poor Zimmerman had reported over 50 incidents to police over his neighborhood watch reporting all races and creeds.

Even if Zimmerman had been prancing around on his tiptoes like a fairy stopping every 45 seconds to fart in Trayvons direction he would be allowed to do this. People cannot beat up crazy people for fun. Trayvon thought (according to DeeDee) this guy was some pervert, That does not give him reason to beat up or attack Zimmerman. This was not Antarctica, this was within yelling distance of 200+ homes.

We know Trayvon was a skilled fighter (according to him and friend asking for training). Trayvon was a lot taller than Zimmerman. Zimmerman had a lot of face and head injuries.

Trayvon did attack Zimmerman and Zimmerman looks like he would fear for his life. Guns are to blame.

There was one aspect of testimony I think is funny. The fight is recorded and someone yells for help 14 times in 30 seconds. 14 times. That is a lot of yelling for help. Some argue perhaps that was Trayvons voice, and others say it was Zimmermans voice. If I looked at Trayvon or Zimmerman though I would peg Zimmerman as the panicky screamer. I think Trayvon is likely peeved that anyone actually thinks that is him screaming like a girl.

These are the kind of morons that can carry guns in the United States. Feel safe?

This situation would have occurred with any race but is just a cash grab for various religious groups.

But now what we are seeing is a pattern emerging showing Zimmerman as a man with serious anger issues, who lacks self-control and has a penchant for using guns to threaten people.

Taken together these recent cases open a new window on the February 2012 case when Zimmerman followed, fought, shot and killed Trayvon Martin, a black teenager walking home from the corner store with candy and a can of iced tea.

All the arguments about Zimmerman’s rights under Florida’s Stand Your Ground law and his right to defend himself in a fight with a teenager fade in light of Zimmerman’s recent behavior.

All the arguments about gun-control advocates trying to use this case to deny Americans’ their right to carry a gun have lost their relevance.

Zimmerman’s presentation of himself as a public-spirited “Neighborhood Watch” volunteer who was legitimately concerned about a strange young man in the neighborhood now looks like a cover story for a vigilante looking to excuse actions that led to the young man’s death.
