Can someone tell me why this area is called Pseudoscience? That term is usually given to the debunkers who reject the notion of the UFO without investigation, hence pseudoscientists.

The UFO phenomenon isn't pseudoscientific, given that a large number of recognised scientists have been involved in the study or endorsed it as a subject worth studying.

Why not pay a visit to my site and look in the Library for some quality information relating to the scientific study of UFO's.

Nope, that term is given _by_ real scientists, to those that investigate sucj topics as UFOs, without due care and attention to proper scientific method, and draw fanciful conclusions not supported by the 'evidence'.

Debunkers are the real scientists, those making wild claims the pseudoscientists.

    Welcome to scifoolems forums.

You just think you are posting with humans. Some are, but I think they are here for information aquisition and, or, control. Most here are pseudo-debunkers, or pseudo-skeptics, or just plain antagonists that teach others how, like phlogger. (Phlogistician)

    grins and winks at phlogger

This area is called "pseudoscience" because the sciforums is a message board of science topics. Unfortunately, there are many people who attempt to pass off ideas and speculations (sometimes outright frauds, sometimes just inabilities to think critically) as "science." The Pseudoscience area is a place to discuss those topics, but it has been overrun by kooks and woo-woos or those that lack the ability to distinguish between science and speculation.
