    I'd say no, and let the child live.

    Disease and famine are natural ways of controlling Human population. With the current exponential growth rate, mass death is (whether I really want to say it or not) a prerequisite of our prosperity.

    Already, more babies are being born than people are dying. It doesn't need to get any worse.
