Problem: You post in one thread....and then clicking back on the 'sciforums' logo on top brings up a log on page saying you are not logged on. Posting is timed now? This is the question.

Spookz was actually being helpful gendy. He means your cookies are fucked up. If you're having to log back in and stuff that means your cookie isn't storing your stuff in your browser. Maybe your security settings are dicked up.
Actually- no he wasn't. I already know about no-cookies-no-log-on. It seems that posting time is clocked now for some reason. Back in the day, if you spent a long time on one thing as in posting the "Who's Online" would no longer show you as logged on but the main index would. However, as soon as you posted you'd be automatically back on again. Now, it seems you'll have to log back on. **edit** and anyway- I'll be ripping his face off for other reasons.
that doesn't make any sense to me, as I've left this running in the background for hours, without touching it and never had to log back in. are you saying you have to log back in to appear in the list, or that for instance, you can't post until you log back in?
Wes: Yup. Happend with that language thread of yours- took a long time, finished the bitch up and behold- to post it I had to log back on again. I had no problems posting to other threads that took shorter time.
