If you have the little asterix next to your name at the bottom of the main screen where the members are listed, I think it means that you're in invisible mode. I don't see you online down there... lol. I'm in invisible mode as well and I have the asterix next to my name. If you want to check it, go to your profile and then go to Edit Options in the Control Panel and select the Invisible Mode thingy. Then just save the changes and you then get the little asterix next to your name. That's what I did and I think I'm in invisible mode :bugeye: at least I hope I am Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

Look in the upper right hand corner, sillyface. I think the whole thing needs a little more color. Maybe some light blue? I think Sciforums is also in need of a non-swastika resembling insignia. The smilies are way too phalic. They all look like penis' to me. I like the old ones better. It's a nice change. Sciforums was starting to look old. But...but...I don't like the smiley limits! I can understand image limits...but...I had commented on almost all of them, but look at what I had to do! I had to cut so much out, so much that I was in love with. Now, my heart is broken.
I think there needs to be a little more contrast between each post on the thread. The old board had alternate white and grey scheme. Here although each post has a well defined box, I think alternate contrasting makes reading easier, maybe alternate between white and pale blue??

Actually, I'm rather surprised no one has complained about how, instead of appearing in a separate column, the name of the user who posted a thread appears right below the thread title. For me, that seems like the biggest aesthetic blight and possible source of visual clutter.
indeed, it was better on the right. Going back to what I was saying, see how porf's blue contrasts nicely with the white??? that would make it perfect, have alt blue/white boxes, but would mean porf wouldn't have his own special colour.
Personally I liked the look and feel of the other sciforums... but thats just because I was so used to it... I... I... feel the need to make a sciforums logo in photoshop for the upper left hand corner of the site... Do you mind porfiry? Of course, it would be up to you whether to use it or not. Later T
