What is the big deal with having sex early?

    The biggest consequence is an unintended pregnancy and the consequences. It's unfair to:

    a) place that on the two kids' families who have to support a child
    b) ruin the two kids' lives (even though they chose to take the risk) because they made a mistake

    Those are just a couple of things off the top of my head. IMO, it's irresponsible to have kids unless you can truly afford to support them for 18 years (and if you're a good parent, beyond that).
