Billy T thanked me for working on the Jokes thread. I somehow have this desire for him to yet appreciate it.
I still want to meet Elvis & I long to hug Janis again.
I need to tell my mother I loved her in spite of all our problems.

I am the most logical thinker of all the people I know. I do not dwell on this but it is there.
IF there is no afterlife, no 1 can know. IF there is, perhaps someone knows. IF there is an afterlife, it seems likely people will be getting on with that life & leaving this behind.

Why do I think about this? Why do I seem to want it?
Do we have an irresistible desire for things to never end?

    Can I ask?
How many afterlife a would you want before you went to heaven? 1? 5? 100?

What ever the number THEN heaven right?

Or do you mean heaven straight after this life?

It's never been clear to me that existing in heaven could be considered as a life

Isn't it meant to be something Devine or Spiritual or something or other?

Would it not be a afterlife but a ...... I don't know after death existence?

We might have it but we can't get it

I do like the idea of living until I know everything

But that's not going to happen either

Evolution has installed the desire to
We are programmed to want to survive by evolution, since we know we are going to die it is natural for us to make up an afterlife so we can pretend we will continue to survive.

What if there was an afterlife and none of them were there? What if they all went to "the other place"?

It seems to me that if you do meet Gandhi in the afterlife, one of you is going to be confused. And maybe disappointed.

Regrets... an wantin to understand the unknown is part of the human condition an it can consume some people.!!!

I like bein alive... but hell... ive had a easy life--many dont an ant capable of enjoyin life... an if i was God an "this" is the best creation plan i coud come up wit... then "this" woud not have been created.!!!

    Botton line:::

Everthang is beyond our control... we just play the hand we happen to hold.!!!

Based on Gods creation of life on earth... if ther is an "after-life"... i woud expect it to be just as screwed up... so im good wit the notion of when you'r dead you stay dead.!!!
