So you are in favor of overpopulation then?
Not sure what it has got to do with Stalin..
Watch out for Enmos . Yeah killer instincts in that one . I agree with you Spidey . Space is the ultimate foreseeable goal of humanity . From the first thought of " I want to fly like them friggen birds . Why can't I ? Some where over the rainbow and all that happy shit . You know how 5 year olds are when it comes to tales of intrigue .
Don't visit Enmos ? She might kill you and feed you to the wild animals . People hater that one . All Sean Penn attitude there .
I understand though . I had a step daughter like that . She was on Sally Jesse- Rafiel once . Yeah Save the animals type . Animals eat animals is the way I see it . Like my uncle Lou . Kill all the humans and make way for the bears . Yeah and he was high yucky yuck in the Carter administration . Makes you wonder who is running the country now . Not a slam on Obama but to other mind set cronies that are whacked out in high positions of decision making. Employees in high places . They call them staff and they do the grunt work and then leadership goes with what they say . Because there staff . Staff ultimately makes the decisions by the way they compile the data. There own spin . They call it " The Telling Of The Story " I heard them say that . " Tell the Complete Story " or Your telling a story here
I'd think that humans need to be better caretakers of this unique planet more so than they have been doing in the past 300 years. That's what I'd think that it might mean.
Well yeah, that goes almost without saying. The interaction as it is now certainly does not need to be maintained.
Making other individuals capitulate to my will be build organizations of structures designed to cater to my will, which given time will fade into obscurity even to myself.
His policy was No man, no problem. In practice, this meant "eliminating" everyone who was a "problem."
Our planet has a finite life. At one point,it will no longer exist, whether there are humans or not.
Question is how we pass through this finite existence, as individuals and as a species.
One's short term goals should mesh with the long term, and the long term can be set at a reasonable seven generations. Six generations is roughly one hundred years.
Analyzing the last seven generations, and making unanimous decisions about what was (and what was not) the realistic goals of those who came before us. (Mimic those old goals as much as possible, as they are a strong current, and can propel you with little reinventing as necessary--some reinventing being unavoidable to adjust to technological advances).
Spend 1/7th of your income in a planned unselfish side-effort** to support your LOCAL community, while simultaneously adjusting the parameters of the spending, to generate a profit for yourself as well. Helping your direct surroundings helps you directly as well.
** side-effort, meaning after regular business hours.
Will you stop dreaming , after becoming a billionaire or try for another billion ?
How are you so sure about this ? What do you think is the life of our planet ?
You think human beings will evolve to some other beings .
If we can decide a common goal , it will be easier for us . Even if we can not decide ; time will take care . So there is no need to worry .
Humans need the Earth, the Earth doesn't need humans. So let us respect it to a higher level of care.
I think we should view this goal from various aspects , like : individual goal , community goal , immediate goal , intermediate goal , ultimate goal , materialistic goal , non-materealistic goal etc...
Human beings are also part of the Earth . Without human beings the Earth will become like other Planets where there is no life . We just can not think of the Earth without human beings . The Earth is so full of life , because living beings are here and we, the human beings are also part of this collective living beings of the Earth .
The community is a collection of individual niches supported by it's own geographic niche, with it's own drinking water sources, utility needs, natural resources to flaunt guests, or extract for barter, income, etc. These sustainable needs and concerns are the goals of the community.
Boredom, complacency, ego-stroking, and other normal individual traits, add flavor, and cost over-runs to the maintenance of these co-opted efforts.
I think , to consider geography ; we should consider our whole planet Earth within this Universe .
Challenges of life is also part of our life . How much we are able to deal with them can ease our life . We got to identify these chalenges to make our life better .
But there's an abundance of critters living here so even if humans weren't here there would be other inhabitants that could carry on and evolve without humans interference.
The life on Earth. Not life (existence) of Earth, as a celestial body.
The sun's cooling down or the Earth moving away from the sun
