Yes Norway is plenty expensive but recently there has been a sort of a price war on beer Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I work in Oslo but live in Fredrikstad because housing is just too expensive in and around Oslo. That looks like a nice peaceful spot you have there spurious.
oh hi there, seven I am Canadian too. I live in Sarnia, ON, right now, what about you? (just curiousPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!)
eddymrsci, i live near Thunder Bay ON. ina stupid small town. Its so boring. haha...Sarnia eh? i havnet heard of it. that must be southern ontario?
Actually, it's a very mild cheese, mixed with whipped cream and sugar and some gelatine and it sits on a base made from crushed bicuits and melted butter, which is flattened out and allowed to become hard. The whole thing is put in the fridge to set and then, if you like, you can spread fruit conserve or puree on it. Flavours and textures can range from semi dry and cheesy to moist and creamy and disgustingly sweet, but a good home-made one is to die for.
yeah Sarnia is a pretty small boring town as well, it's near London ON yes it's in Southwestern Ontario, pretty close to the US, just across the Bluewater bridge in Sarnia and you'll be in Port Huron, Michigan Have you seen Bowling for Columbine? Micheal Moore actually went to Sarnia to interview the mayor and some students in this peaceful cityPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
My town, Lemesos Cyprus, is a thriving tourist centre on the Mediterranean coast. Being only 11km x 6km you can normally get from one side to the other in about 15 minutes. local journeys take an average of 7 minutes. Population about 150000 nationals, 50000 foreigners and 3000000 tourists a year. Sun shines 340 days a year. My house is half way up a hill and is surrounded by small hills with houses and gardens on them. Being only 3km from the beach, I can see the ocean from the eastern and south-facing rooms upstairs. A MacDonald's burger costs 69c (US $1.20)) A kebab in pita costs 1.90 ($3.50) A Mercedes SLK costs 50000 pounds ($90000) A packet of decent fags 2 pounds. A small studio on the beach 80000 pounds, A 3 bed house in town 140000 pounds, A lux villa with pool 350000-800000, A mansion with everything 1.5m-5mil I think a lap dance in a private booth in a 'gentlemen's club', costs around 20-30 pounds, coffe in a smart cafe 1.75-3.00 pounds, M about 300-500 an ounce (highly illegal), cinema 4 pounds. I thought you might really need to know all thatPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I live in Hamm, Germany. Since I do not have any photos handy (at least not from my house), I´ll just post a photo of a nearby castle. Just about 1 kilometer away. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
