I guess it's my turn to look ignorant - but what show/movie is or was Galaxina from?

 

Galaxina is from the 1980 film of the same name.(BTW, this was the only film role for the late Dorothy Stratton.)

 

She is pretty hot, but I've never heard of her either.

 

Well, I'm not too surprised as it wasn't exactly a major release even in '80. But I do find it interesting that almost all of the nominations so far have been of recent movies/shows, I mean, how about Rachel Welch as "Cora" from Fantasic Voyage? And then there's Anne Francis in Forbidden Planet:
