Why do you get adrenaline from positive emotions?

    Why do you get adrenaline from, say, being happy or looking forward to something?

    Unless you are looking forward to the moshpit at the metal concert you're off to later that night, I don't think these emotions are signs of danger...

    Adrenaline prepares the body for change. Doesn't have to be negative changes such as running out of fear. Some positive examples are the rush of adrenaline from the excitement just before having sex, or before the final of a major sports tournament.
