The trap? I don't use beauty products beyond the essential soap, lotion, and deodorant and whatever is the cheapest is what I buy. I wasn't talking about Dove or it's ad campaign, or Wal-Mart. I was talking about the picture, itself only.
You can be a size 7 8 9 10 and be healthy and attractive. But the media would say you're fat. If you're natural set point is high forcing yourself to fit into a size 2 is unhealthy and you're just setting yourself up for disappointment because you won't be able to maintain. God forbid you have wide hips, no amount of dieting will make you a size 4. Not being in style is one thing, but making someone think they are unhealthy when they aren't is not good.

It's not that they're large, it's the way their shaped. Natural breasts don't form into perfect circles like that.

They claim they can, but unless it's a blatant hack job of a surgery, they don't really seem to posses the ability. They always say, "I would never be with a woman who had implants", but when they see them they don't know the difference. At least the men I know.

Honey, men watch enough porn to know the difference.
We also know if we tell you we know the difference we'll get quizzed on how we know and have to confess about the porn. We'll then get asked lots of questions such as "so how many tits have you seen exactly?" and "does it matter if they're real?" and "are hers better than mine?"
Frankly, it isn't worth the hassle. We're happy letting you believe we can't tell.

what women DON"T GET is that men are physical by Nature

inotherwords , it is the physical body of the female that attracts the man

    give any man two scenarios ;

    a Nordic women

    or a fashionable skinny women

    as far as attractiveness

    Nordic women hands down

Most real men don't. I've always assumed the reason fashion models look like pre-adolescent boys is because most men in the fashion industry are homosexual.

You'd think so. However, according to WillNever, it is the epitome of beauty and the ideal for all men.

According to someone like Will, Marilyn Monroe was probably an obese beast and ugly. Because she was not "skinny", but had curves, to Will, she was probably fat and ugly.

That means most men aren't real, manthony.

What you are describing is known as high-fashion, which is homosexual driven. However, even low fashion, non homosexual catalogues and clothing companies such as Penny's, Macy's, BR, Gap, etc. feature uniformly slim male and slim female models. The exception would be the "big and tall" sections, designed specifically for the She-Ras out there. Other than that, the standard of slimness pervades throughout all of heterosexual fashion. They are only catering to what We the People want to see.

Question: are you suggesting that homosexuals have a predilection for pedophilia? If you are, then that explains why your views are rather warped.

I don't know, she seems slim enough for me.

It's very common to see chubbies trying to claim "ownership" over Marilyn Monroe and hold her up as some sort of a precedent for their chubbiness. It would work better if Marilyn Monroe were herself chubby. Although healthily buxom around her breast and buttocks, Monroe was actually a slim woman around the waist.

I'm starting to think that maybe there's a little confusion here between "slim" and "skinny." Women like Monroe were/are certainly slim but they are FAR from being skinny.

Anyone remember the model Twiggy from a few decades back? Now she WAS skinny! Much like one of the pictures someone posted in this thread. A living stick-figure. About the only curves she had was due to the fact that her head was round.

Besides all that, there's something very basic that's being overlooked in this whole 'debate.' Normal men have a built-in basic desire - placed there by the survival of the species instinct - to prefer women of what I call a "normal build" - that is, a form and figure that fits with being equipped to producing healthy babies. Someone like Twiggy with such a narrow pelvis would probably not even survive trying to give birth. And she certainly wasn't equipped to nurse a child either.

As I said before, extremely thin OR fat women are generally not desirable except to a few men whose sexual desires do not match with those of the 'normal' average male. Yes, there are many men out there who don't fit the 'normal' mold but they are aberrations of the human race - like it or not. There usually are exceptions to every general rule.

I don't mind him pointing out pretty women. I just think one of a woman clutching at her own breasts with liquid spilling off them looks vulgar, and I don't see how it is relevant to this thread.

According to some random page I found via google, Monroe's measurements were 36 23 35 and she weighed around 110 lbs. In other words, she had an hourglass figure with large breast, curvy hips, and an extremely narrow waste.

Edit: I'm sure that if WillNever had posted pictures of her and people didn't know who she was, most of the people here would be denouncing her as "unrealistic" and assuming she had breast implants.

well, one's got to take into account certain factors: when you happen to be a 6 ft tall, 135 pound heterosexual male, such a preference is understandable.

I heard in my gender studies class, that the origin of super thin models was the fact that designers didn't want women taking or adding anything to the clothes they designed. They wanted women who looked like hangers. So people would really only see the clothes and not the person wearing them. That's what I heard anyway.
