Why is this theory not accepted yet?

    What theory? The whole point is that a satisfactory unified field theory has not been formulated yet.

    also gotta remember its wikipedia...anyone can change it to say whatever they want it to say..

    the closest they have found (pry not the only) is string theory (again a wiki reference(too lazy to search for others))

    and it said eistein coined the term..

    Did you read the article? It specifically says "There is no accepted unified field theory yet, and this remains an open line of research." The reason there is no accepted unified field theory yet is because there is no unified field theory that works -- yet. People are working on it, including several that frequent this site.
     
  7. oh so you mean it's saying that the idea was thought up but it hasen't been worked out mathematically yet?
