Why no signatures?

    in my opinion there can only be one answer, abuse

    by the time someone finished writing a novel for their signature there isn't room on the board for much else, in my opinion

    They are a waste of bandwidth. People come here to read the posts, not somebody's signature 1000 times.

    I don't see that it serves any purpose - presenting the same statement every time you post.

    When somebody has something to say for themselves,
    better to add that to their personal profile.

    click 'preferences' at the top right,
    then click 'Edit Options' on the left.

    So what, under the heading of "signature," is this:

    Were signatures disabled at some point or something? A lot of the older members here seem to have them (not that I'm really sure what they are, anyway).
