    Marmorkrebs

The marbled crayfish or Marmorkrebs, is a parthenogenetic crayfish that was discovered in the pet trade in Germany in the 1990s.[5] Marbled crayfish are closely related to the "slough crayfish", Procambarus fallax,[4] which is widely distributed across Florida

How many other versions of Marmorkrebs, don't mean crabs but sea or land animals about their size?

When first I encountered that word, it was in reference to a man being permanently expelled from a medieval univerity
("go back to the farm boy")
later it was a temporary suspension.
    and
    then
used much as i use it.

    Corruption of Blood

    Noooo not blood poisoning

The Corruption of Blood Act 1814 (54 Geo. 3 c. 145) was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland which abolished corruption of blood for all crimes except high treason, petty treason and murder.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corruption_of_Blood_Act_1814

Prior to being abolished the act meant that if a person was convicted of certain crimes, his descendants would be barred from inheriting his property, stripped of any hereditary titles they might have held, and that all his descendants in perpetuity would be forever barred from holding titles or owning land

High treason, petty treason and murder were abolished later

    perpetuity

    noun

1 a bond or other security with no fixed maturity date.

    2. LAW

a restriction making an estate inalienable perpetually or for a period beyond certain limits fixed by law.

    Even demcalculias not show

Have you the feature where if you want to copy or delete a word you long press and a black bar appears with options?

Recently my version of the black line shows Define as a option

Selecting that option goes to a definition (not always the same place)

Perhaps not all definitions in the default (?) place, which seems to be Definitions from Oxford Languages

    atavistic

    adjective

relating to or characterized by reversion to something ancient or ancestral.

    "atavistic fears and instincts"

    Definitions from Oxford Languages

    Atavism and Human Tails

True examples of atavism, like the ta2 chicken, are data points indicative of common ancestry between species. In the case of human beings, the presence of a tail is a striking example of such ancestry. Many cases of people born with "tails" exist in the medical literature, but it is not always clear whether these appendages are "true" tails or not. In some instances, they are actually "pseudotails," or malformations that just happen to be located near a person's tailbone. True tails, however, result from a particular type of error during fetal development.
