i say yes. the countries that are doing the best since the iron curtain fell are the ones that resisted solviet pressure the most.

Earth would have been better under Soviet Rule.

Universe is our territory and whoever dares say No gets a bullet for eternity.

how so with out the communist structure and with the influence of the west eastern europe could have been as prosperous as the west. And to draqon if the russian influence why are the countries in eastern europe that have some of the better economies. Poland, Romania, Hungary and the Baltic states. counties that and thriving black markets under soviet rule and in some cases tried to openly defy russia?

At this stage I realize that Russia needs to invest a greater number of time/people/money into spying business as well as military. Current budget is 10 times lower than what it should be.

Well its their own choice of suffering.

We could be great business/economy/political partners now that war is long over and Communist Russia has ceased to exist.

do you honestly expect after being shat on for fifty years they would want anything to do with russia? why do you think eastern european countries are joining nato and stuff to establish ties to the west so they won't have to deal with russia

As a result of their choice they will oncemore have to deal with military problems from Russia.

You either cooperate or do not cooperate.

they would be willing to deal with russia except for that attitude. Eastern europe will never again bend on a knee to russia

They're merely gifted in the dark art of mimmicry (perhaps the eastern european's most dangerous attribute). They look basically humanoid to the untrained observer, but closer inspection reveals they are anything but man.
Look into their black eyes, they don't have souls.
Be careful, every human does instinctively feel their skin crawl when in the presence of an eastern european, but modern concepts of politeness and political correctness can lead to people ignoring their instincts and putting themselves, or their loved ones, in danger.
