An easy way out? By all calculations, this way was harder. And I did not want to create a new threadfor the mess because if the old was closed, then the new who probably be deletd or closed. Besides, I actually started it; and then ~8 minutes into the message, after numerous copyand pastes, and etc. I asked myself, "What the fuck am I doing..."? So I stopped. I suppose too petty...

I find the reasoning a bit strange though; You were settling a flame war, and then decided it was too petty?

Something just doesn't add up there. Expecially considering the fact that you still started a thread just to complain that the old thread was closed and you couldn't finish it there.

Just strikes me as kinda odd is all...

 

This thread was a first reaction. Pettiness is an abstraction of emotions felt and a decision made at a different time; It may or be not be symptomatic of the actual emotion... Either way, I'm certain that as events are, the chance will come up again should I feel the need to 'settle'. Besides, more than 3 have told me ignore... so for now, I shall let it be and see how future situations....
