how do you figure?

 

I aspire to be a nerd.
I collect apocalyptic dvds, read loads of comic books and futher my computer knowledge on a daily basis via trial and error.
I don't work in IT but would really like to (I'm really lazy and unmotivated and just can't be arsed to do it) and I like most sci-fi.
I can bore the arse off a girl one minute and crack her up the next.
I can drink myself into a near-liquid state one evening and spend the next 5 days lost in the internet.

I wanna be a nerd/geek, so is there a classification for people like me? People who aren't quite smart enough to be a fully fledged nerd?

Atom, you clearly have all the answers, so what am I?

We are not even nerds. That is our tragedy.
Real nerds would have found somewhere much more technical long ago.

Oh and btw, Ghost in the Shell is the best Anime ever, IMO at least.

im a nerd.
but i also have a girlfriend, friends and a social life, few people that dislike me, decent looks. so i have no problem with being a nerd.
