After a bit of thought I'll throw these in the mix...

1)Blade Runner. A movie that actually made me feel an emotion!! Rare indeed!
2)Dark Star. So funny. That bomb is my hero! "let there be light!"
3)Aliens. Looks good and best of the series.

Only three from me. Everthing else is just cheap entertainment.

    1. The Fifth Element
    2. Blade Runner

IMO Fifth Element epitomises the space opera and Blade Runner gives a view into what I think our future may look like.

    Woo...

My favourite Blade Runner moment was when that decongestant company used the Blade Runner imagery - y'know, the huge billboards and dripping iron ceiling and so on - as a metaphor for nasal congestion in a TV commercial.

    I think it was Dristan...

Best: We're talking about the best here ppl, not most popular

    (no order)
    5th Element
    Blade Runner
    Matrix
    Planet of the Apes (old)

    Noteable:

    Equilibrium
    Donnie Darko
    Dark City
Contact (i know... but i liked it!)]
    Tron
    Old Star Wars
Star Treck: All good things:1&2 (wasn't a movie exactly, but the best story ever. Humanity on trial by a supreme being! What more could you ask for?)

I can't believe they didnt make a movie with Q in it...

And i wish SOMEDAY Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy will be made into a movie. That would turn out great. Or maybe Enders Game, that wold also be a great one.

The Best SciFi Flick I think was; "The Day The Earth Stood Still" (circa 1951) Remember "Klatuu Murada Nicktoe" or something like that....Great early Scifi movie of that era....

    Dark Star?

Sounds familiar, is that some really twisted movie with this alien beach ball and it ends with a guy arguing philosophy with a bomb?

I love so many of the movies listed here that I will not bother repeating all of them. But I will mention one I have yet to see on this list.

Pitch Black. I loved that movie! And I hear they are making two sequels, the first one due out this June. The new trilogy is called by some "Star Wars' evil cousin".
