We have no manufacturing base to employ them if we bring them home. We already have high un-employment as it is, where would they work ? So instead we funnel money to a machine that is designed to protect the interest of the wealthy first and foremost while we ignore the needs of the masses and future generations. Plutocracy at it's finest. Of course we need a military. But isn't it time to demand the money or more of it be moved to more pressing needs at home ?
