Au contraire, ma cher. You can still get it.
Connect to your router and see how many clients it's got.
Then enable some security.
Unsure of whether Firefox's uninstall removes the web cache. Clear out the cache by clicking "Tools" then "Clear Private Data". I suggest only the Cache and Cookies. You may be prompted by a few websites for info that they had stored before in those cookies.
are you installing as an add on thru firefox or using the standalone installer as i suggested? it might make a difference
Have you tried going to the control panel, and manually uninstalling flash, and reinstalling?
it would help if you told us exactly what happens when a flash video is supposed to be playing.
I also recommend downloading Opera.
does flash work here?
if not...anything that might be blocking flash? an a-v proggie? scripts?
Eons ago in a perhistoric time it was, It way back, back during the 486 and Pentium era, but not so far back as the Commadorsixtyfourbrium eon.
edied by ellie.
have you confessed to all your sins?
Dywy, this may sound strange but do this:
Go to firefox preferences and change the Download directory juts dont use default use the Desktop or My Documents.
EDIT!********forgot to say that AFTER you change the directory Redownload Adobe flash Installer and install it.
You used the same copy of WinXp?
Its cracked or genuine?
Dywyddyr, I got the same problem some time ago, and tried many things, and it worked again! The thing is, I don't remember which way was working Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!p).
Please try any of these:
- If that doesn't work, and you're using firefox, go to Tools, Options, go to "Security", press Exceptions, then type http://www.youtube.com/ in the available box, then click "Allow".
- If that doesn't work either, go here: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp10
then download the one with "activeX control content debugger". I think I downloaded the version 9, but now there is version 10.
Those steps are not necessarily in order, but after one of those steps, my youtube works again. If none of the steps working, there is other step missing (which I can't remember now, doh Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!). Please try those first, I hope it works.

For some reason it WILL play flash from other sources...
Do you have admin level acces to the pc it will fail if you do not.
Yes it's my own PC and I'm the only one that even touches it.
I have a Youtube downloader.
But why would I want to download a video before I know what's in it?
