All, Can the zero-point energy be equated to the Chi Force (or) the Prana (the life force) which Eastern religions talk about? Is this the force which those ancients are talking about? I learned about zero point energy in some of my university physics classes, but any time I hear people talking about zero point energy they seem to be talking about something totally different from what I learned about. How is the energy that's present in a bound, ground state-state system in any way related to any of the things that people see to associate it with?
