    I haven't priced guns, but I imagine a used revolver couldn't be much more than $100. Much less than a metalworking lathe and the time and skill it would take to craft your own.

    In Australia if you shoot a burglar you would be charged with murder...true.

    Get a dog or a couple...inturders hear them bark and probably seek a softer mark.
