Now we have a movie critic here! To bad that MOST of these movies won't be very big hits for they mostly look like cheap productions, although I could be wrong. I don't see any that were mentioned here that interests me whatsoever. Which, if any , interests you KJK?

Why does a film need to be expensive to be good?
Monsters only had a $500k budget... that was pretty good.

Most of these are also going to be huge budget (per imdb unless stated otherwise):
Spiderman - not on imdb - initially thought to be only $80m but leaked earlier in the year that it would hit $220m!
Avengers - $150m
Batman - $250m
Battleship - $200m (for what still looks a **** film!)
John carter - $250m
Prometheus - not on imdb - but here suggests $230m-250m
Hunger Games - Wiki suggests $100m
Men In Black III - Wiki suggests $215m

On the cheaper side:
Chronicle - $15m (per Wiki)
Hansel & Gretel - $60m
Mirror Mirror Snow White - not on imdb - but per Wiki it's $50m.
Three Stooges - per Wiki it's $30m.

Unknowns:
This Means War - can't find details - but most reports have this as "big budget", and given the "stars" involved it'll be $100m+ I'm sure.
A Thousand Words - but it's not sci-fi or reliant on Sfx - so probably around $50m.

So most are not cheap. :)

I think some of them are being filmed very much with 3D in mind (e.g. Prometheus) so much of the budget could be on that rather than quality of the actual film.
