The worms bury themselves deep beneath the sand, but recent storms have uprooted them and Drakes Beach, about 50 miles north of San Francisco, has been covered in the creatures.

looking at the volume and the rough species distribution(suggestion), this is a significant number
possibly equal to many hundreds of kilometers of coast line
my guess is each worm represents around 1/2 to 1 cubic meter of sand

Man made climate change, the biggest deception in the history of mankind.
See, the reason that climate change deniers like yourself will fail miserably is that your lies are now trivial to disprove - people just have to look out their window.

I was talking to Scott Peters the other day and he said that even republican congresspeople from Florida are now quietly coming to him saying "what sort of climate legislation can I sign on to?" This isn't because they suddenly understand the science (they don't) but because the people in Miami and Key West are seeing their streets disappear underwater. They are demanding action on climate change because they can see it. And if you tell them "you are imagining things - sea level isn't rising and storms aren't getting stronger!" they will laugh in your face - and then vote for the guy who is going to take action on climate change.

If you have ever read the statisticians analysis of the Australian raw data and the modified Acorn 1 and 2 data sets you will see why the Statisticians reckon that scientists should never be allowed to modify their raw data sets and it should only be done by professionals like statisticians.

After all, up to 10 degrees centigrade differences between the modified Acorn 1 and 2 data has absolutely nothing to do with reality.

Could you link 'the statisticians analysis'?

Really? If a scientist runs a calibration on their sensor, and they realize it is off by 10 counts (and has been for the last 200 measurements) they shouldn't update their data? They should keep the old, incorrect data in their analyses? Interesting position.

You're the alarmist, the conspiracy pusher. It's up to you to convince others but your, "Appeal to authority" fallacy doesn't cut it.

Do these people demand something of
King Canute
also known as Cnut
that is unlikely to actually happen?
..................................................
vote for me and I will stop the seas from rising
or
better yet
I'll teach you how to walk on water

I'd like to take a selfie in Australia with a bush fire in the background.

"I deny it!"

They are demanding action on climate change. That will happen to a greater or lesser degree - but since it is already happening, it's not a foolish request.

Not any more. Try telling a guy in Australia watching his house burn that there's no such thing as climate change. Try telling a guy who is going to lose his home in Miami to rising seas that he's imagining things. They will laugh in your face and then kick your denier butt to the curb.
