I keep getting the feeling you are trying to back out of the challenge. Just like the North Texas Skeptics did. So I was hindered in entering the One Million Dollar James Randi Challenge.
Are you taking it seriously or not?

You made the claim, based on your research. So you define (prove) it. And please cite reliable and confirmed sources.

I posed the counter question to understand the difference between the baptism of Jesus and the baptisms of millions of other individuals, some of which apparently did not have the holy spirit descend on them or did not accept it. Or perhaps it did and all the bloody holy wars was a result of the holy spirit descending on a lot of people in different ways.

I am withholding my answer until I understand the distinction between having a holy spirit descend on a prophet or a madman.

Well you and I have agreed on so many things over the years I don't think it would be wise of you to label me a madman. But you might, for you might be thinking WTF is this Robittybob1 doing? But really I'm just living the life that I have been dealt (it's all there in the Beautiful Christian Music thread, every word of it true.
Now my only source of information about the Holy Spirit was the Bible and it is in every Gospel that the Holy Spirit descended onto Jesus at his baptism. You can read it, but I want you to say whether you believe it. Do you believe that happened?

While Matthew emphasized more his baptizing people, Luke focuses on John’s preaching, who “exhorted the people and preached the good news to them” (3:18). John announces that Jesus “will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire” (3:16). After Luke makes the point of telling the reader he needs to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, he writes about Jesus’ baptism. He makes the reader believe John is already in prison (3:20) to deemphasize John and shift away from water-baptism to Spirit-baptism. As the “Holy Spirit descended” on Jesus, “a voice came from heaven” (3:22). Jesus was filled with the Spirit, and prophetic speech followed. That is what Luke desires for all of Jesus’ followers.

There is nothing for me to back out of but no, I'm not taking it seriously. If you have supernatural powers it doesn't require me to take them seriously for them to exist. It does take evidence however.

Why I need a serious partner in this is that we must make some attempt to save lives.
Did you read about the Marysville premonition on the BCS thread? I'm not going to do nothing again. And if I put them on the forum the forum has to try and do something and that includes you.

You're asking me if I read the over 900 posts on the Beautiful Christian Songs thread? No. Of course not. You are also apparently asking the forum to help convince authorities of your powers if you have another premonition.

You haven't proved to us or to anyone else that you have any powers.

Since you ask so much from us....may I ask you a few questions? How old are you, what is your educational level and are you married/have any friends/family and what do they think of your powers?

Maybe the whole thread was in the wrong place from the beginning?

I was pleased to hear you had a good laugh for I have a laugh writing the posts. When I write "Are you mocking the Lord's anointed?", it leaves you guys wondering, "who does he think he is?", but really it is just saying, "are you lying to a Christian?" in a 'weird arse' way.

I try never to engage in ad hominem. The reference to "madman" was Hitler, who was also baptized.

It seems to me we are asking here if being "full of the holy spirit" as different than being "empty of the holy spirit". It is a morality tale.

No, I can't agree with the concept of "descending". By all accounts the holy spirit permeates all that exists and as everything is connected, by extension everything already contains the holy spirit.

I believe that in the end it comes down to the evolutionary process and natural selection.

Moral One: In the natural world cooperation always benefits both partners.

I believe the honeybee is filled with the holy spirit more than any human. 70% of life on earth depends on the honeybee's symbiotic relationship with flowering plants. But their mysterious degradation and disappearance does not seem to resonate with the rest of "spiritual" humanity. Why is that?

I am partial to harmonics. As musician I have tasted of the "descending spirit" and realized it was a perfectly natural mirror response between my group, the music and the appreciative audience. Then the audience went home and I was just a man.

OK let's run a science experiment to see if the laws of physics are magic.
Fill 3 jars of water to the brim, and try and turn them into the finest wine.
For a fact a magician may be able to do that by illusion, but only a person filled with the descended Holy Spirit will still be able to do that whilst he is pissed (drunk).

Or perhaps he thinks it is wine because he is already drunk. Ask the Earth if humans are filled with a holy spirit. It'll tell you that humans are no more than a surface nuisance. (quoted from George Carlin).

If you are following this guy - I fear for you.
I suppose he is making a living from this. At least that is start. but I think he is wrong for I am an environmentalist.
