Government search engine blocks "abortion"

Actually there are other sites that can give you information. By just preventing one site isn't going to prevent people from getting information about abortion. :)
 
something needs to be done for abortion searches. I was searching the word the other day and all I could find were biased sites. Mostly pro-life. This is bad for people who are actually looking for factual information. Pro-life websites make everything sound far worse and grotesque than it actually is and pro- choice although slightly better tend to down play certain aspects of the abortion process and effects if any. There need to be more medical websites that don't exihibit any bias just information
 
Abortion is murder, does the Government explain to you how to murder someone?
 
Sometimes abortion is a medical choice regardless. I now work a ob/gyn office and there was a women crying yesterday about how she didn't want to have an abortion and it was her choice, but it was going to be either the baby dies or they both do. Old people shouldn't get pregnant, but thats just my point of view. Someone with her condition should be able to get valid unbiased information on the topic if she decides to go through with it.
 
Yeah and blocking what the government thinks is not right is illegal...
 
Certainly; however, blocking murder is not.

Besides, abortion is the murder of a Human being, therefore it IS murder in the fullest degree, willingly practiced, and all those who do practice it deserve 100% death penalty.

Besides, the government has an obligation to block inappropriate materials, especially things such as, pornsites.
 
The government has no right to decide for the people what's inappropriate....

Its run by the SA goverment but its independent to the point that people were complaining because they made a list of prostitutes that would cater to people with pysical and interlectual disabilities (which the right wingers DEFINITLY didnt like)
 
As a scientist I believe in the right to accurate information that is free of bias, just facts. Regardless of whether you agree with it or not. I think hunting for sport is disgusting and would never condone it, but if I was doing research on it I'd like to get facts about it not biased info from pro and con groups.
 
learning about abortion is not an inappropriate topic when its a choice you have to make and you may want to be aware of certain procedures. Just like when I thought I had an ectopic pregnancy I wanted to know as much about the procedure of removing it as possible because I didn't really want to die.

You missed the point. Anything can be decided to be inappropriate, just not by the government, but by the PEOPLE. The government should just administrate the people's wish, in a perfect world...

Example: The Chinese government decided that learning about the Tiananman square is inappropriate.

And what do you think the Government is? It is the reflection of the people; therefore, as abortion is inappropriate BY THE PEOPLE, it should be blocked BY THE GOVERNMENT
