HERP: Causes for cancer

According to the researchers Gold, et al, 1992, the pesticide content in various foods gives the followings risks of cancer, in the HERP scale:

Coffee: 10%
Salad & Lettuce: 4 % (!)
Orange Juice: 3%
Black Pepper: 3%
Champignons (Mushrooms): 2%
Apples: 2%
Celery: 1%
Potatoes, Carrots: .3%
DDT (pesticide itself): .2% (before '72)
Pear: .1%
DDT/DDE: 80 ppm (1990)
 
Well, living is the most serious decease and ALWAYS ends up with death.

Im sorry, but what do I have to eat then?
 
and what pesticide in general are seen as having these carcinogenic properties?
