Most of them seem to have nothing to do with what I have been posting.

I think that's populated by those that are on your friends list. It's akin to Facebooks "wall".
A Tricky Question: 'monospace'
I learned something, just the other day.
It emerged that if I tag blog posts style="font-family:monospace;", I get a certain result. This result is that the blog software renders the font in the browser's designated monospace font. I like this, since I use an unusual monospace font, Latin Modern Mono.
And if I tagged my posts here at Sciforums with font=monospace, it produced the same result ... by my view, through my browser (Firefox running in Linux Mint).
This result no longer occurs; I think I'm getting an actual font called "monospace", an industrial sans serif typeface that really is painful to read.
Talk about the curse of Yig.
There is, of course, the question of what other people see. This post is set to font=monospace, save the title, which is arial and bold in two separate tags.
But is it possible to kill this "monospace" font and refer back to browser settings?
Then again, in broader terms, yes, this can go somewhere down the list; it's hardly the most important thing.
(Additional note ... the browser displays the LM Mono font—browser setting—in the rich-text input window, but not the post preview or final posting.)

You can post messages onto it.
I think everyone can see them, not just friends.

"Monospace" isn't a font in itself, so for it's namesake it won't work in all browsers. some might automatically try to find the first monospace'd name match to take it's place. What font you should use is "Courier New" (it's monospaced and a named font all in one. Available on Windows, Mac and Linux)

What rendering method are you using? (right click on the LaTeX output and look under Maths Settings, Math Renderer)

The default output (HTML-CSS) is cross browser compatible however it will be slower than using MathML with browsers that have inbuilt MathML support.
(Since MathJax is heavily Javascript orientated and a majority of the forum software also runs on Javascript it would explain why it can occasionally appear slow to load. The more script being executed on the page, the longer it can take to render)

Do you mean they no longer show, or they are no longer there? If they are no longer there, then I would question when was the last time you change your password for Sciforums? If you haven't changed your password since the software change then I suggest you do so now (along with anyone else that reads this and hasn't changed their password since then.)
The thread on the Lockheed Skunk Works fusion reactor in General Science & Technology disappeared this morning. As-in, I had a live link to it, hit refresh and it was gone - and it no longer shows up in the threads list in the forum.

I found it. It was moved to Cesspool and then deleted. Kitt deleted it himself because it got derailed.
Just curious, but why delete it if it is in cesspool? Seems redundant and confusing.
