Not to that one. But my name is etched onto one of three computer chip-sized plaques attached to the Perseverence rover that just landed on Mars. Along with around 10 million other names, but still, I kinda like that it's there.I hope I wasn't duped back in 2003. Anyone else here ''contribute''?
That's interesting, I wish I'd seen that NASA announcement for names.Not for the Deep_Impact probe, But I did for the Insight Mars lander ( One perk is that I'm pretty sure that my name will be be the only instance of that first and last name combination. While I do have a quite common first name, I have an uncommon last name. Such that there is only one other person in the US which shares my First/Last names, and he is a distant relative.)
BTW, I heard that plaque fell off when first hitting the atmosphere!! (That's a ''Hawkiism'' )Not to that one.
