Yes. I have made some boo boos and had to recall.As the title states, I'm wondering if you've ever recalled a sent message in Outlook? I'm in marketing, and sent an email to a client and caught a glaring typo, so I ''recalled'' it. I received a notification that it was successfully recalled, and according to online sources, as long as the email remains ''unread,'' it should rescind fine. I caught the error quickly, so it's quite possible that the recipient didn't read it, yet. I'm blaming SF for distracting me, today.
The recipients didn’t know, right? Like, they don’t receive a notification?
I will mail with screen grabs when I get to work. The thing I have noticed is that it does not work so well outside my organisation. So say I mail a colleague from sales and recall that is fine. To a different company not so sure. Reason is that I have had notifications from outside saying, " Mr """""" tried to recall message."
This is exactly my concern. I feel like they don’t think these things through from a design perspective, when creating these apps. I don’t want the recipient to see that type of notification, it would have been better to have not recalled and hope they didn’t see the typo.
